If you go down to the woods today…

…then be aware that the boardwalk section at the end of the Red Run is closed to have non-slip paint applied.

There will be a detour in place and it should be open again midweek, weather allowing.

The new boardwalk section has made it onto Youtube via the camera of Reaver3582 who seems to have been having some fun on the Hill recently, judging by the number of videos he’s posted!

We’ve also added this to the Red Run and XC route pages.

Fast forward to around 2:15 to see him and his mate flow the boards.
 

Super-buff at the Hill; conditions are pretty near to perfect with dry (but not super dusty) trails, warm enough to ride in short sleeves (but cool enough to not make you drip) and no plants grabbing for your bars.

The addition to the end of the Red Run / XC downhill has been on the cards for a while. It’s now one step closer to completion, thanks to a morning of graft by Rich and team.
