Aston Hill \’Back on Black\’ DH Race - 25th March 2012

Just to remind everyone, that due to Sunday being race day the Black Run will be the only trail open and only to those who’ve entered the race.  The rest of the trails will be closed.  If you’re not racing, come along and show your support, parking and entry is free!

The awesome guys at www.supernovacycles.co.uk have stepped in and offered a £50 voucher for the ripper (u18) who they think shows the most potential.  You don’t have to be on the podium, just show lots of guts/courage/skill and the “x-factor”!  Will YOU be the first Supernova Super Ripper……………

Can’t believe the generosity of the guys at Madison!  All this will be divided up for the prize fund on Sunday.  But as they say “you gotta be in it to win it”!

Camping - For all of those who are wishing to camp overnight on Saturday 24th the field will be open from 1600hrs onwards. The cost is £5 per tent. I’ll be there all night to collect the fees and to ensure that the no open fires/loud noise/anti social behaviour rules are adhered to. Any one who breaches the rules will be DQ’d from the race and asked to leave the site. Sorry to sound harsh, but we can’t allow the minority to spoil it for the majority.

Hi,  online entry is now closed for the race.   However, sign on will be open on Saturday 24th March between 1200-1430 and we will be offering the fantastic online price of £25 for those who register during that period!  If there are any places left registration will re-open on the Sunday morning at 0730, but the price will be £35.

Flowy 15 ft Double out of the tight switchbacks on the new trail. There’s a non-airborne route for those so inclined.
